The D³ Collection
The D³ Collection was born during a delicate moment in my life, at the slow and complex turning point of emerging from depression. A personal journey from the deepest darkness toward a new form of light through shadows, emotional extremes, and shifting inner states.
It is the most radical synthesis of the human duality: light and darkness coexisting, chasing, confronting, and transforming each other.
Darkness is not denied, but embraced. And from that dense, visceral matter, a Creature of Light emerges. It is a constant motion rising and falling, approaching and moving away from what is known, diving deep, resurfacing.
From rigid geometric shapes, the path leads to the circle a symbol of rebirth and continuity. The black-and-white gradient becomes a spiral, a visual representation of the inner motion: a continuous tension between descent and ascent, end and beginning.
The collection also introduces a subtle shift in tone: from earthy, grounding shades to pure white. This transition from the color of soil symbol of origin and rootednessto the brightness of light becomes a metaphor for elevation, for the possibility of spiritual and emotional ascent. It is the passage from the heaviness of matter to the clarity of awareness.
Our existence begins in the void. And it is precisely our urge to move toward the light that generates that perpetual motion, that spiral rising and falling at once an illusion, like breath.
Design becomes transformation.
Two irregularly shaped rugs, like the entire collection, create a powerful optical effect of ascent and descent. No color, no distraction, only essence. The extremization of form, minimalism as expressive choice, as the fragile but possible balance between opposing forces.
