Divided
The Fault Line of the Mind
In Divided from the Barrier Collection, the intensity of the concept is expressed through a stark and deliberate fracture. A central, deep, and uninterrupted line acts as the main axis of the entire composition, serving as a fault line that splits the textile into two distinct worlds. This division is a tangible and monumental representation of the mental and physical barriers that halt evolution. Rather than merging, the surrounding textures remain separated by this insurmountable boundary, symbolizing the duality of the self and the temporary inability to reconcile different parts of our identity. It is a static snapshot of a rift, where the entire structure is forced to adapt and pivot around this central void, standing as a solid wall between who we were and who we might become. The work captures the essence of the stasis that precedes either the shattering of the obstacle or the eventual acceptance of the divide.

Features
Features
The collection features an asymmetric, multi-level construction composed of two textile blocks offset both vertically and horizontally. This modularity creates an irregular silhouette that breaks traditional geometric boundaries. The surface alternates fine horizontal ribbed textures with bold, rhythmic line patterns for visual depth. A prominent central band in high, plush pile serves as the axis of both union and separation, introducing a significant tactile and volumetric contrast against the flatter base weave. The outer edges are finished with dense, handcrafted fringes, adding a dynamic, artisanal detail to the overall architectural design.
